About

Founded in 2012, the Dance Center Luzern offers daily ballet and contemporary classes for all ages and levels. Our ACADEMY program gives children and teens a well-rounded ballet education, while our Adult Classes are for dancers of any age and level.

In addition to our own ACADEMY and Adult Ballet & Contemporary program, we are host to a wide variety of classes including Jazz, Salsa, Flamenco, Irish or Standard Dance, Karate, Fitness, or Pilates.

The Dance Center Luzern is directed by Linda Britschgi, an American Ballet Theater certified dance teacher and former professional ballet dancer. Kathleen McNurney, president of Dance Suisse and former artistic director of Tanz Luzerner Theater, is our professional and pedagogical advisor.

We are proud of our certified dance teachers, who each have had an extensive dance education as well as professional stage experience. Our passion for dance informs our teaching and desire to nurture the next generation of dancers and lovers of dance.

As members of the IG Tanz Zentralschweiz and Danse Suisse, the Dance Center ensures that students receive the best possible training available in Luzern.
